Parenting: The Father’s Father

There is a direct correlation between how you view God and how you will father and mother your children. That’s why it’s so important to get the doctrine right about our Father in heaven. God is not a monster or a child abuser.

The father in Luke 15:11-23 had two sons—one who hung out with prostitutes and pigs, the other who was an arrogant twit. We’re all somewhere on that spectrum, and God loves us the way the father in Jesus’ parable loved his prodigal children… without condition or reservation. That kind of transformative love is changing the world one person at a time.
