Christians without Christ are just… ians, and that ain’t much of anything at all. Jesus makes a big difference.
Someone told me recently about a German music teacher who lived in a very small and humble house in a little village.
He had a sign over his doorway, and this is what it read, Reinhold and Beethoven live here.
Kind of that way for the people who follow Christ. Our sign isn’t about our value or importance, but His. Let me tell you what mine reads. Steve, a needy and messed up sinner lives here, along with Jesus. Come on in. If I leave the Jesus part out, nobody ever visits.
