It’s Simple

Oliver Wendell Holmes once said that simplicity on this side of complexity was worth nothing.

And that simplicity on the other side of complexity was worth everything.

Karl Barth, perhaps the greatest theological mind in the last 100 years was asked what he had learned after a long life of study. I have learned, he said, Jesus loves me, this I know, for the Bible tells me so.

After the complexity and confusion of modern life, I don’t know about you, but that works for me. And it’s enough. Jesus really does like me, probably about 10% more than he likes you.
