Poker
DECEMBER 20, 2024
As a believer, you have a great hand, so you don’t need to bluff.
I may have told you before, but I quit playing poker a long time ago.
Frankly, when I did, I was good at it. Poker’s sometimes like life.
You’ve got to know when to hold ’em, know when to fold ’em, and know when to walk away.
Let me tell you something I learned from poker. When you have a good hand, you don’t have to bluff.
If you’re a believer, you have a great hand, and you don’t have to bluff either. You’re forgiven, loved, and acceptable to the God of the universe. When the actors and con artists are bluffing, just smile.
And when they notice and ask you why, tell ’em.
I’m Steve Brown. You think about that.
