Umbrellas

Jesus said.

That God sends his rain on the just and the unjust.

I have a friend who wrote a poem about that.

The rain that raineth all around on both the just and unjust fellows only falls on the just because the unjust have the just’s umbrellas.

In the Bible, the Psalmist asked.

Why the wicked prosper?

I wonder sometimes too. The Archbishop of Canterbury once said to Queen Victoria.

Your Majesty, God may not balance the books every Thursday, but he does balance his books.

He does, you know.

So, if you have an umbrella, enjoy it while you can.
