There’s an old story about the captain and the chief engineer of a ship who were arguing about which job was the most important.

So, they swapped jobs. After a few hours, the captain appeared on the deck soaked in oil and grease. Chief, he yelled, I can’t make her go. I know, replied the chief engineer, I just ran her aground.

The Bible says that God has given each Christian a gift. Find out what it is and stick to it. I can’t sing, and my musician friend can’t preach.

As long as he sticks to singing, and I stick to preaching, things go better.
