Susie – Ray Rhodes

Lots of people know Charles Spurgeon, but not as many know the story of his wife, Susannah. Ray Rhodes literally wrote the book on her story and he’s here on Steve Brown Etc. to talk about Susie: The Life and Legacy of Susannah Spurgeon, wife of Charles H. Spurgeon. 

Ray serves as the founding pastor of Grace Community Church in Dawsonville, Georgia. He’s also the president of Nourished in the Word Ministries. Ray’s doctoral thesis focused on the marriage and spirituality of Charles and Susannah Spurgeon. Ray’s new book is titled Susie: The Life and Legacy of Susannah Spurgeon, wife of Charles H. Spurgeon.
