A Great Forgiver

She was just a little girl who did something her mother told her not to do.

She asked her mom’s forgiveness. I forgive you, her mother said. I always will.

That evening, before saying her prayers, she said to her mother, Thank you for forgiving me, but… Mommy, why do I feel bad. Her mother said, let’s talk to Jesus about it. They did, and her daughter fell asleep with a smile on her face.

David said.

Against you, and you only, have I sinned.

You’re not really forgiven until you’re forgiven by him.

And he is a great forgiver.
