Laughter is–almost always–a gift from God.
My friend and producer John Frost tells a story about how Lee Trevino was once robbed at gunpoint on a golf course while playing with a friend.
He said to the thief, Wait a minute. And then he pulled a $50 bill out of his billfold and gave it to his friend. Here’s the money I owe you, Trevino said. He then turned to the thief and said, Now, you can rob me.
Is that true? Well, neither John or I know, but it’s funny. And if you laughed, it was a gift from God.
Laughter, almost always heals.
