Jesus was an innocent man arrested and executed for our sin.
Did you hear this story about the 93 year old lady who was arrested, but committed no crime?
It seems that being arrested was on her bucket list. Her granddaughter wrote a thank you note to the police department. Thank you so much for arresting my grandmother on her birthday. Her health is failing and she wanted to be arrested before it was too late.
Now, that’s kind of weird, but then that happened to Jesus. An innocent man executed for somebody else’s sin, yours and mine.
As it were, we were on his bucket list.
