Good Enough

If you’ve been playing games with God, there’s some good news and some bad news.
When we do something bad, most of us think we can do something good to make up for it.
That way, we keep things in balance and we don’t owe God anything.
We do it the other way around, too.
We do something really good and don’t do something bad following it, we figure God will then owe us.
If you’ve been playing that game, I have some good news and some bad news. The bad news is, you’ll never be good enough for God. The good news? God knows what I just told you and sent His son to die on the Cross and to be good enough for you.
