Grace

There’s an old Hasidic story about a rabbi who gave his last coin to a beggar.

Someone questioned him on it. And he said, shall I be more particular to a beggar than God was when he gave me the coin?

Many of us when asked how we’re doing reply better than I deserve. We all get better than we deserve, or I wouldn’t be talking to you and you wouldn’t be listening. We would be dead or suffering from jungle rot or something.

It’s called grace. And grace is always being blessed far beyond what we deserve. Me about 10% more than you.
