Guilt
DECEMBER 4, 2024
If you’re carrying around a heavy load of guilt, God can fix it… but not the way you think.
I hear in some places in Alaska, when a child does something wrong, they put a rock in the kid’s backpack.
If the child does something good, they take one out.
I’ve been doing that most of my life. In fact, I have so many rocks on my back, I’m beginning to look like a worn out, bow legged, old cowboy. If I work hard, I can fake it and straighten up.
Then God told me that he could fix the problem, I thought he wanted to take the rocks away, but he didn’t. He wanted the backpack. That’s what the Cross is all about.
Run to Jesus, he’ll take your backpack too.
I’m Steve Brown. You think about that.
