Marriage Problems

Let Jesus love you…so you can love those who irritate you.
Not too long ago, back in the days when I was a pastor, a couple with marriage problems came to see me and I listened to them fight.
The husband said to me, Reverend, I think our problem is communication. Son, I said, that’s not your problem. You communicate fine. You just don’t like each other.
Do you have folks who irritate you? I do. And I’ve found that the only way to fix it, is to let Jesus love me. I suspect there are times when I irritate him too. I’m not very lovable, but he loves me anyway. That’s the only way I know to love others.
