Messing Up

When we see others blow it really bad, there are two things that we are never given to know.

We will never know how powerful the temptation was. And secondly, we’re not allowed to know how hard anybody tried to resist the temptation. When we mess up, nobody knows those two things about us either. So, maybe we shouldn’t be kind to one another. You think?

No, it’s not an excuse for our bad, because we don’t need an excuse. It is what it is. And it’s what Jesus covered on the Cross. Grace levels the playing field. And his love brings the goal post close.
