Muhammad Ali

Humility should be the mark of the believer.
Muhammad Ali was not only a great boxer, he was a colorful personality.
Someone once asked him how he was at playing golf. I’m great, he said, I just haven’t played yet. Once on an airplane, a flight attendant asked him to put on his seatbelt. Superman, he said, don’t need no seatbelt. She replied, Superman don’t need no airplane.
Humility was not his forte. Humility, on the other hand, should be the mark of the believer, something good people don’t need no forgiveness. The Bible says, good people don’t need no cross. That’s the difference between a Christian and a non-believer.
We know that we feel guilty because we are.
I’m Steve Brown. You think about that.
