Plague

When we all went through the pandemic, I thought of a folk tale where the plague told the prophet that he was going to kill 5,000 people in a certain city.

50,000 people died, and the prophet said, you lied to me. No I didn’t, replied the plague. I only killed 5,000, the others died of fear.

Wear a mask if you must, get the vaccine and stay away from me if you want, but listen, don’t let it control your life.

God does that and he does it right well and he likes you. He’s bigger than any pandemic and there’s no perspiration on his upper lip.
