Prayer

Sometimes people will ask me to pray for them.

I sometimes pray, Lord, I love you. And you have given me faith, but this issue is big. The pain is deep. And I feel over my head. In fact, I don’t think I have enough faith to help. Do you know what Jesus says to me? It’s okay. Bring them to me.

That’s what prayer is all about, by the way. It isn’t about our faith or how big it is. It isn’t about our commitment. It’s about bringing people and issues to Jesus.

He’s never confused. Doesn’t have perspiration on his upper lip and abounds in mercy and love. He’ll know what to do.
