Shame

It was his first date and he did it right.

Puppy love is always real to the puppy. He took her to very nice restaurant, gave her flowers and was very complimentary of her dress. At the door of her house, she simply said it was a nice evening, turned and went into her house, leaving him standing on the stoop.

He didn’t understand until he got home, looked into the mirror and saw a large piece of spinach hanging from his front teeth. If that doesn’t make you wince, there’s something wrong with you.

Just so you know, you’ll never be shamed in the presence of Jesus.

He will, as it were, laugh with you about the spinach and, well, give you a toothbrush.
