One time I was asked to be the president of a large seminary.

I thought that was cool and I’m into prestige. I was dreaming about it when the phone rang, it was my close friend, Rusty, he didn’t say hello or how you doing? Brown, he said, who in the world do you think you are? You ran away from kindergarten. If you were the president of that seminary, you would make a fool of yourself. Stick to where God has called you.

My friend’s willingness to speak truth to me was a gift. Now, I’m going to give it back to you. Stick to where God called you.
