Where He Found You

Did you hear about the woman in the divorce court who told the judge that she just didn’t want any alimony?

I just want him, she said, to leave me the way he found me. And how was that? Asked the judge. And she replied, I was a widow.

A good practice is for Christians to remember where Jesus found us. I do. I was lonely, afraid, guilty, without meaning. Then he found me. Sometimes it’s easy to forget how really dark it was.

If you remember the dark, you’ll laugh and dance in the light.
